My Story
Built on a lifetime of trade experience.
I've spent more than 20 years working full-time in carpentry, renovations, and home improvement. My background includes 8 years building high-end custom cabinets and millwork, including crown, baseboard, casing, chair rail, stairs, handrails, vanities, mantels, and full-room finish work like libraries.
That experience carries into every project I take on today through Handy Lou's Home Improvements, from interior and exterior painting to tile, siding, basement finishing, doors, trim, patios, walkways, and repairs around the home.
I handle every visit myself, whether it's a single door installation or a larger remodeling project. The person who quotes your job is the person who shows up to do it, every time.
I quote every job upfront, so you know the cost before work starts. If something bigger comes up once I'm on-site, I'll explain it clearly before moving forward.
